On top of my addiction to color, I love typography. I'm constantly experimenting with different ways to include type into my ink drawings. I have used masking fluids which are a challenge to work with and I've created type in pen and pencil and then vectorized it to apply later. This works better if anything ever needs to be changed. Anyway, on to experimenting!

I first made the weekly planner to solve a problem for myself. I wanted a simple planner with lots of space to write and with some splashes of color to keep me interested. This planner is just that, lots of open space, non-obtrusive numbering, with an ink drawing at the beginning of every month with a look at the month as a whole. I have them printed by Blurb for myself, and I'm looking to print on a larger scale or publish in the future.

These phone cases are so much fun to carry around. The cases themselves are made by casemate and are very durable and mine have survived more than one drop with no  damage to my phone. I'm working on getting them in my shop here, but until then they are available at www.zazzle.com/lesliemward.
